Rediscovered Buttons!

Today I am sharing a card I created from an idea I saw in Creative Cardmaking magazine.
I used the Woodware stamp Blooms" Samantha" in 2 sizes.
What appealed to me about this design was the use of flower buttons. I have a great stash of buttons but rarely use them. I therefore thought this would be a good reason to do so!
I mounted green card on to a card blank. I then coloured in the 2 stamped images using complementary colours to my buttons and added these to the card.
I then glued the flower and garden themed buttons on to the card. I finished by stamping one of the sentiments.

Get Well card- (not using flowers!)

This is a fun card that I created for the A Maze of Memories Craft store April challenge which was to create a Get Well card NOT  using flowers !
For this card I used Craftwork Cards Dolly Mixture papers which I used for the background. I then stamped some plasters images from Lawn Fawn in a line and added faces and hearts to them. For fun I added the title Band Aid -unfortunately  couldn't find a guitar stamp to add to these!
I then added the tortoise with an ice pack and sentiments from another Lawn Fawn set.

Tic Tac Toe Challenge Yippee!

Today I have  created a card for the Make the Day Special Blog Challenge Tic Tac Toe.
Of the options I have gone with the line
Masculine
Embossing
Stripes.
For this card I have used Mama Elephant Rainwater Pigment ink
Mama Elephant Boutique Borders  stamp set
Mama Elephant Tiny Heroes stamp set
                                        Waffle Flowers Congrats stamp set
                                         Lawn Fawn Twine
I first stamped the stripes on to white card. I then stamped 3 of the boy  Super Hero images and coloured these in .
From the Waffle Flower set- I stamped and heat embossed the words "Congrats" and "Yippee!" I used Distress inks to colour the background for "Congrats" and used bronze embossing powder on" Yippee!"
I then stamped out 3 stamps from the WF set and coloured these in.
I mounted all these images with foam tape on to a card blank.
I stamped out the sentiment "on your new job" and mounted this across the 3 balloons.
I glued the twine  to "attach" the balloons to the Super Heroes.
I finished by stamping another of the WF sentiments.
This was a fun Challenge to do and it was interesting choosing which stamps etc. to use!
